RPL Process – Recognition of Prior Learning is a form of assessment that enables participants to be given credit for what they already know and can do, in other words their competence, without any further training.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the acknowledgement of a person’s skills and knowledge acquired through previous training, work or life experience. RPL may be used to grant status or credit in or towards a subject, module, or unit of competence.
Funding may be available for completion of selected qualifications. Check in the “Funded Qualifications & Opportunities” area or call Building Industry Training today. RPL may also be applied for as a separate process and can be completed on a Fee for Service basis.
